At Optimal Wellness, our Optimal Pain Management Massages are rarely full body sessions. Your Massage Therapist will work to find the primary source of your pain problems. During each pain management session, your therapist will customize techniques based on your needs and level of pain.
Pain management treatment techniques are used to treat common pain conditions such as Low Back Pain, Knee Pain, Fibromyalgia, Whiplash, Plantar Fasciitis, Sciatica. If you suffer from chronic pain, a pain management plan can be extremely effective at relieving pain by way of several techniques over time, including relaxing painful muscles, tendons, and joints. The consistent pain management massages can also help to reduce chronic stress and anxiety.
We recommend scheduling our Optimal Movement Assessment first to identify the source of your pain. During the movement assessment we will identify imbalances and asymmetries that can result in future injury. We suggest following the assessment with one 90- minute pain management massage as well as one 1 30- minute movement therapy session per week for 8 weeks. After the 8 week period we will conduct a second movement assessment to track your progress
